Boys Will Be Boys News 6.14.99 Edition
None of my news will really be "Inside Stuff"...considering I have absolutely no connections to the boys. So, I can tell you all the stuff I somewhat know, or at least have heard about. Please keep that in mind.
*Backstreet Boys Millennium is now out in stores and is still going strong. It has been #1 on the US Billboard charts for 3 straight weeks including it's debut week. It has also broken the record for most albums sold in the first week, second week, third week, and as well as total. They sold 1.13 million copies in the first week, the album went gold on the first DAY of release.(Meaning it sold over 500,000 copies.) Let's see if the boys can be #1 for one straight month. The album is doing just as well in countries all over the world. If you haven't gotten your copy(or 2) of Millennium yet...what are you waiting for?! Go get your copy now.

*As some of you know, the boys were getting VERY harsh reviews left and right about Millennium BEFORE it's release. I hope all those critics are choking on their words.
*There is some very sad news about the Backstreet Band. There are only two remaining members that were with the boys for the 1998 tour. Tommy and Dennis are the only remaining two. The others have all left for different reasons. They will ALL be missed... Now who's gonna throw drumsticks at Nick? :o( for the details, go to:

*Boys are slated to perform at the 1999 Blockbuster Music Awards this Wednesday, June 16th. I do not know for certain if they are performing because of their busy schedule when they were taping the awards. BUT I'm sure there will be SOMETHING on the boys cuz they won 2 awards there. So at least check it out.
*Boys are on the cover of the July 1999 issue of Teen magazine. I do recommend that you pick this up, it is very well worth it.
*BSB's Disney Concert Special will air on the Disney Channel on July 10th.
*I'm sure most of you know this, but the boys are now on tour in Europe. They will perform most of the songs off of "Millennium" as well as older songs. The concert is in the round, meaning they are surrounded by fans by all sides, and there are five front rows as well as five screens. They will also be doing some aerial stunts. *In the Celebrity Yearbook edition of Teen People, there are TONS of childhood and young pics of Kevin, and a few of AJ and Howie. Go check it out, it's out now.

*A little more about magazines. Boys are also on the cover of the English magazine, "Top of the Pops" for Issue 52. Also, J-14 has a Backstreet Boys special mag out for this summer. I DO NOT really recommend this mag. The reason being it is $10. I DO recommend TOTP if you're lucky enough to find it(American fans, try Borders bookstore, that's where I get mine). The J-14 mag has tons of good pics but it is still $10. It is somewhat worth getting, but I say only for the pics. So if you are desperate to get it, go for it. I might regret the $10, you might not.
